Common Questions
What services do you offer?
We offer home visits (1-3 daily) to your pets or farm. We feed, water, take dogs outside, clean litter boxes, turn horses in/out, clean stalls, and provide companionship to your pets. We also offer dog walking while you work (or while you’re recovering from an injury/illness) so your dog gets exercise and a potty break during those long 8-hour days alone at home.
Do you do overnights?
At this time, we only offer overnight stays for trusted, longtime clients.
How do I set up service?
Contact us to set up a meet and greet. After that, just let us know the dates you will be gone to make sure we have availability. Then, plan your vacation with the peace of mind that your pets will be well cared for.
Do you pick up mail and water plants?
Yes, we are happy to pick up mail and water a limited number of plants.
What types of pets do you take care of?
We care for dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, goats, and chickens. We do not provide care for snakes and reptiles.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and Venmo.
Do you accept all jobs?
We reserve the right to decline jobs for any reason.
What if my animal is aggressive to strangers?
We do not take care of aggressive or poorly socialized pets. They are better cared for in a kennel setting or by a family member who knows them.
What We Do
We are proud that most of our clients stay with us long-term. Some of them have even become friends over the years.
In many cases, we have watched pets get older and pass on, which is the hardest part of pet sitting. We miss them too and always keep a special place in our heart for them.
We never take our client family for granted and are always humbled and grateful that you chose us as your pet care provider. We strive hard every day to live up to that trust.
We are also lifelong learners about pet behavior, nutrition, training methods, animal psychology, etc.
Our Values
We believe in caring for your pets and your home the way we would our own. We respect your home and possessions and never open drawers or doors except for what’s necessary to access items for the pets.
We also believe in decency, diversity, and equity and welcome all clients regardless of race, ethnicity, age, ability, or sexual orientation.
Regarding the training of pets, we use positive methods that are science based and foster communication.
In addition, we believe in caring for the earth and nature, and in giving back to the community.
